Is your teacher training program an accredited course?
Yoga republic is a yoga alliance registered and recognized yoga school. upon successful completion of the full course, you will receive a 200hr accreditation from yoga alliance. this will allow you to apply to be a registered yoga teacher (ryt) through yoga alliance. following registration you will be able to obtain insurance covering you for yoga teaching.
What yoga experience do i need to do yoga teacher training?
We recommend a minimum of six months of yoga practice before enrolling in our course. some experience of vinyasa and yin yoga is ideal but not compulsory.
if you haven’t done vinyasa or yin before,we recommend trying out some of our classes at yoga republic to make sure it’s the right fit for you.
Do i have to complete all the weekends to gain certification?
All teacher trainees must complete the entire 200 hours of training scheduled over the 14 weekends including the homework component,to gain accreditation with yoga alliance. the program has been designed specifically to meet the yoga alliance 200 hour teacher training requirements.missing out on a weekend or not completing homework would mean you have not completed the required number of training hours and areas of study, and will not gain full 200 hour certification.
What if i can’t attend all the weekends outlined in the program schedule?
We strongly recommend you only enroll in our program if you are able to complete all the allocated weekends over the 3 month period. under rare circumstances of serious unforeseen incidents or illness, each case will be considered at the discretion of our trainers. an hourly fee will be required to repeat essential workshops missed by the trainee
