Yoga Republic’s teacher training programs are run by our experienced and knowledgeable senior teachers. With over 15 years of personal practice and thousands of hours of yoga teaching, you’ll be safely guided in their hands. We draw our knowledge and guidance from a range of traditions and approaches, including, Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Bikram, Raja, Karma and Bhakti yoga to offer you a curriculum and mentorship that is balanced and holistic, encouraging you to positively transform in self knowledge and self belief, allowing you to reach a freedom of expression and expansion of all aspect of your being. We deliver the teachings with care, passion and an empowering belief in you, that will give you the confidence to fire up your yoga teaching journey.

Croation born, raised in Australia, Jack Farras is the owner and founder of Yoga Republic, Phuket. With over ten thousand hours of teaching and now his fourth and greatest creation, Yoga Republic at Blue Tree Phuket.
Jack is extremely excited to welcome you into this wonderful space, share his knowledge and spread the joy of Yoga, and Pilates.
After injuries, constant nagging joints and muscle pain from many years of competitive sport and rigorous fitness training, did he turn to yoga and within six months, it was as if a miracle had occurred. No more pain, and he avoided a second knee operation, but still maintained the same level of fitness.

His mind to body awareness grew exponentially. And in turn healthier and happier. Simply put,”this is where yoga takes us all if we allow it to, if we are patient enough”.
And so, the love story began.
Jack will challenge you and make you laugh or at least smile at the same time. He may not teach you anything, but he will make you think and feel better.

LaksanawadeeAtiyat, is a Thai-born Vinyasa, Hot Yoga, and Flying Yoga Instructor at our studio.
After many years of fitness training, Laki discovered yoga back in 2013 when she started working at Yoga Republic from its very first day of operation in Phuket.

Starting as the receptionist and beginning her practice in order to better understand the needs of the studio.Her love story began here, and she began practicing with a real focus for the next 3 years.

She then went on to complete her 200-hour Vinyasa Teacher Training at Bryce Yoga at Absolute in Koh Samui and began teaching at Yoga Republic in July 2016.In 2017 she completed Hot Yoga Training and began teaching Hot Yoga as well as Vinyasa.
To further her Yoga career, Laki went on to complete Yoga Fly Teacher Training in Chiangmai in 2020 and continues to expand her yoga skillset and passion for yoga.

Arit sara Nadee (Issy) is a Thai-born Hatha Vinyasa Yoga Instructor at our studio.
With background of winning medals in the karate national games,Issy used to suffer from Scoliosis. Yoga completely healed all physical injury.

Having completed 200 hours of Hatha Vinyasa Yoga alliance training with the focus of alignment and energy.

Issy truly believes that with the right alignment,one can protect the body from injury and at the same time allows one to build a deep strength inside.Either you’re looking for a new physical challenge or you have a history with injury, Issy looks forward
to welcoming everyone to join in her practice

James Jackson is a UK born, Pilates Intructor at our studio.

He is a former dancer and choreographer; with over 12 years of experience from the movement and wellness industry to his role as Pilates instructor and specialist in health, wellness and rehabilitation.

James has a vast range of experience of working with those who suffer with pain from conditions such as scoliosis, arthritis, osteoporosis, non- specific back pain, disc or nerve patholog ies, frozen shoulders, reverse spine curvatures and the like. These treatments can reduce pain, improve body awareness, address postural imbalances, minimise strain and excess tension.

He provides a place for you to discuss your concerns and can provide ongoing take home exercises to support your longer-term strategies for healthier pain free movement.
